Dynamic Skiing for Life/Integrated Skiing™ Seminars

The indoor/outdoor “whole body” ski experience that will make you a better skier in a few days.

Serious fun for experts and intermediates.

You ski for the challenge. You ski for the exercise. But most of all you ski for the sheer joy of it. And we guarantee plenty in your seminar at Vail, Colorado.

Working with top instructors, you’ll learn simple methods to improve your skiing. As you replace old habits with new moves, you’ll see a difference in your control, coordination, balance and efficiency — all of which will increase your confidence. You’ll carve turns, tackle bumps and blaze through powder with more ease and efficiency than ever. And you’ll perform better using less energy … leaving you plenty of stamina for an afternoon of indoor instruction!

Train Your Body and Your Mind

Integrated Skiing blends indoor and outdoor classes as well as your body and mind.

By “turning awareness into action”, you’ll understand how to move in ways that will make you more flexible, more confident, more polished and more in control than you’ve ever been on the mountain.

And, because you’ll know exactly how it feels when you “get it”, you’ll never forget it

People are saying...

I’m a believer! In one short weekend I moved from an upper level intermediate to a beginning expert level.
— Steve Berkowitz, Chicago, Illinois

I had one of my best ever competitions after doing Feldenkrais.
Troy Watts, former member of the US Ski Team

Integrated Skiing

My bump skiing has improved as well as my weaker side turn. This is the missing link in sports instruction.
— Brent Root, Vail and Beaver Creek Ski School

I’m no longer just mimicking an instructor, not knowing why I’m doing something. I now know why I’ve made a correct move, or if I’m having problems, I can stop, regroup — and do great!
— Karen Johnson, St. Louis, Missouri

The Feldenkrais system has helped me improve my skiing and has added, generally, to my enjoyment of life. My breathing was steady, and at the end of the day, my upper legs were not tired!
— Herb Rousso, 73 years old, Marina Del Ray, California

Improve Your Moves with the Feldenkrais Method®

The Feldenkrais Method stems from a simple reality: once you feel how your body moves, you can use the information to improve your actions … and create new ones.

This is especially useful, because we are creatures of habits. Feldenkrais gives you the understanding to move better and replace bad habits with good ones that allow you to ski your best. And that’s just the beginning. Instead of simply imitating other’s movements, you’ll learn from the knowledge of what your body does, and by developing an inner understanding, you’ll discover that this is true learning.

Plus, when you ski efficiently without stressing your body, you’ll enjoy the sport throughout your whole life, instead of giving up something you love, because your body can’t keep up.

The Ins and Outs of Integrated Skiing

The whole idea behind Integrated Skiing is simple: when you know what you’re doing, you can do what you want.

Because if you need a breakthrough, lack confidence, want to fine-tune your technique, feel exhausted after a day on the slopes or simply want to improve, you need to get your whole body and mind involved. And an Integrated Skiing Seminar is just the place to learn how.

Based on the famous Feldenkrais Method® of neuromuscular re-education, seminars concentrate on two areas. First, working indoors, you’ll focus on exactly what happens when you move in particular ways. You’ll learn to move more effectively and efficiently by concentrating on ski specific movements.

Second, in small groups, you’ll apply your indoor lessons on the ski slopes. And as those new movements kick in on the mountain, you’ll release the skier you always dreamed you’d be.
